Update September 2020
For the time being almost all of our ministries will be virtual. In addition to our weekly taped Sunday services we plan to continue with outdoor worship at Thomas farm once a month while weather permits.

Message from Rector Paul Walker
Dear Christ Church Family,
There are still so many questions, unknowns, and uncertainties in our town, in our country, and in our world. The one place of bedrock stability is in the Church. And that is because the Head of the Church is Jesus Christ. And as the scripture tells us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
That means that Jesus Christ is the Head of Christ Church; His grace and sovereignty have not been affected one iota by the pandemic. And while we have not been able to gather inside our beautiful sanctuary since last March, the ministry of Christ’s Church has been going great gangbusters. As it will continue to do this Fall.
Even during this time you will find all kinds of opportunities to worship, learn, serve, and grow. Yes, much of it is online, as is much of the world. But whether we gather virtually or in person, the Holy Spirit is living and active, binding us to one another and to our Savior. This pandemic will not last forever and we will once again be able to come together for worship in the church, meals in the Gibson Room, Bible Studies in the Small Group Room, events in Meade Hall, and chapel in the Children’s Chapel room, and Youth Group in the Youth Room. But just because our plans are temporary does not mean that they are less than. This is just what we’ve been given for the time being. And we know and trust that God is the giver of all good things.
